Training built around you and your dogSometimes individual training is simply the easiest and most effective way to work. You may have one particular skill to improve, prefer individual support or have a dog who would learn better away from a group environment.One-to-One Training gives us time to concentrate on your priorities without working through a fixed class programme. We start with your dog, the life you actually live together and what you would like to improve.

Sometimes the obvious problem is not the whole problemA dog who appears not to listen may be overwhelmed by the environment. A recall problem may partly be about what the dog finds more rewarding than returning. A dog who cannot settle may need help learning what to do rather than simply being told repeatedly to calm down.Good training starts with understanding what is happening, then choosing an exercise that actually addresses it.

Training problem or behaviour concern?One-to-One Training is usually the right place for recall, lead walking, focus, settling, jumping up, puppy skills, everyday manners, general confidence and training.Behaviour Support may be more appropriate for dog-to-dog reactivity, reactivity towards people, separation-related problems, resource guarding, sound sensitivity, significant fear/anxiety-related behaviour or more complex problems affecting everyday life or safety.
