Reactive Rascals

Does your dog bark, lunge or struggle to stay focused when other dogs are around? Reactive Rascals is a small, supportive six-week course for you and your dog if everyday walks are more difficult than you would like them to be.This is not about correcting the dog for reacting or expecting them to simply behave around things they find difficult. Instead, we work on helping you understand what is happening before the reaction, giving your dog clearer ways to cope and building practical skills that transfer outside the classroom.

Small classes with room to learnReactive Rascals is limited to a maximum of four dogs and is taught indoors at Oakridge Hall for All in Basingstoke. Dogs are not expected to interact or socialise with one another. The environment is managed so each dog can work at an appropriate level.If you are unsure whether a group course is suitable for your dog, please contact me before booking. Some dogs will be better supported initially through Behaviour Support or One-to-One Training.

One-to-One Training

Individual training can be a good option if you have one particular training issue to work on, prefer one-to-one help or feel your dog would learn better away from a group environment.Sessions can focus on everyday skills such as recall, lead walking, settling, greetings, confidence, engagement and working around distractions.Training is built around you, your dog and the life you actually live together, with practical exercises you can continue between sessions.
